Our special speaker
Jonna Helin is the Creative Director of Laine Publishing, a pioneering publishing house based in Tampere, Finland. Under her visionary leadership, Laine has grown from a small, passionate startup into one of the most beloved names in the international knitting and craft publishing scene.
Jonna is also a knitwear designer known for her stylish, wearable and thoughtfully constructed patterns, which are embraced by knitters around the world. A gifted teacher and inspiring speaker, she regularly shares her knowledge through workshops, talks and events that bring the crafting community together.
Most recently, Jonna collaborated with the prestigious Finnish yarn company, Novita, to create a Laine signature yarn line—personally curating everything from fibre blends to the nature-inspired colour palette. Her work reflects a deep love for craftsmanship, storytelling
and helping others find joy and meaning through making.
